Future Business Plans

(a) Commodities Division

  • Expansion of purchasing high-quality rice and various beans from farmers with fair pricing and transparent trading processes.
  • Establishment and expansion of processing facilities required for cleaning, grading, classifying, and packaging rice and beans to meet international standards.
  • Direct export to international markets through designated networks and participation in major trade events.
  • Distribution and sales to domestic retailers and food processing factories.

(b) Machinery Division

  • Managing current import and distribution of Kubota tractors and other related agricultural machinery.
  • Selling and leasing machinery to meet the needs of farmers and to supplement agricultural expenses.
  • Providing repair and maintenance services, selling spare parts, and delivering after-sales services.
  • Collaborating with Kubota Myanmar Technical Team to establish UC (Used Certified) standards, Max Check Points, and operate Kubota Re-Condition services at Yangon and Mandalay service centers.
  • Sharing technical knowledge, providing training, and offering technical support for machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Introducing and demonstrating new agricultural machinery to enhance modernization of farming practices.
  • Conducting research to supply appropriate machinery and agricultural solutions for regional development.

(c) Farming Services Division

  • Offering agricultural agreements to farmers with guaranteed purchase prices for crops harvested.
  • Providing land preparation and farming services (plowing, planting, harvesting, and post-harvest services) at fair rates.
  • Delivering agricultural advisory services on quality crop selection, pest and disease management, irrigation technology, and farming practices.
  • Implementing drone-based services (e.g., pesticide spraying, monitoring) for higher yields and efficient farming.

(d) Value-Added Production Division

  • Wholesale and retail of various oil crops (e.g., groundnut, sesame, sunflower, and beans), and production of high-quality, purified, and health-conscious edible oils.
  • Producing affordable animal feeds for cattle and poultry by utilizing by-products from oil pressing and rice milling.
  • Producing basic milled rice and packaged graded rice for consumers, as well as rice flour and snack flour products.

(e) Agri-Inputs Division

  • Importing and distributing reliable, high-quality fertilizers (NPK, Urea, Organic), pesticides, herbicides, and seeds.
  • Conducting soil testing and providing advisory services related to farming practices.
  • Distributing products through networks of systematically managed retail shops and local distributors.

(f) Advisory Division for Agricultural Financial Support

  • Providing advisory services for farmers to access microfinance loans to support their agricultural needs.
  • Assisting in designing loan repayment schedules aligned with seasonal crop cycles and harvest periods.
  • Sharing financial literacy and knowledge with farmers to help manage their financial activities effectively.
  • Coordinating with insurance experts and companies to provide insurance services that minimize losses during farming operations and offer appropriate compensation in case of damages.

GBS Agricultural Services Public Company Limited was incorporated as a public limited company under the Myanmar Companies Act with the company registration number (2384/2015-2016) dated (6-10-2015) issued by the Company Registration Office.

Subsequently, with the approval order No. (MONREC-1170/2016) dated (26-3-2016) issued by the Myanmar Investment Commission, the company commenced agricultural service operations on (5-5-2017) at No. (4), Zone (5), Kyunkone Township, Pathein District, Ayeyarwady Region.
